MDDCRC photo documentation guidelines

With the increasing popularity of digital photography and video, field observers now submit more digital images of rare birds to records committees. The MD/DC Records Committee (MD/DCRC) drafted the photographic guidelines below to help photographers prepare and submit images for review by the MD/DCRC.

IMPORTANT: These guidelines are only suggestions! Above all, the MD/DCRC is interested in receiving and archiving documentation of rare birds in our region. Therefore, WE ACCEPT ANY FORM OF DOCUMENTATION in any available format! However, we hope that these guidelines may provide some benefit to bird photographers, especially to anyone new to digital photography.

Comments and feedback are welcome!
